WA Deaf Society EOI, Disability Employment Case Manager - Full Time

WA Deaf Society’s DEAFinite Employment Service is a Specialist Disability Employment Service (DES), skilled at assisting and supporting Deaf and hard of hearing Western Australians to find employment.

We aim to empower our job seekers to reach their full potential by offering an individualised program tailored to meet job seekers needs.

To be successful in this full time role you will need:

  • Auslan proficiency  (Certificate level or higher an advantage)
  • A passion and drive to help people find employment
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to motivate, inspire and coach clients
  • The ability to provide individual case management to help identify and support individuals to overcome barriers into employment.
  • The ability to provide  support in the workplace to ensure that employment is suitable and sustainable
  • Strong marketing and negotiating skills
  • Previous experience in developing business relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • To be outcomes focused and results driven with a demonstrated ability to achieve individual targets and work to clearly defined KPI's
  • Strong administration skills and IT literacy, data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook experience
  • The ability to comply with current government guidelines
  • A strong work ethic
  • A National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check will be required

Additional preferred but not essential attributes

  • Experience working with the Deaf community or the disability sector.
  • Previous DES or JSA experience
