The Samsung's New Auslan Service
The Samsung's New Auslan Service

Samsung have recently announced a new technical support service for Auslan users. Please see below for a message from Samsung:

"Hello everyone, my name is Sokong and I am from Samsung Australia. Samsung’s vision is to provide accessible products and services to all our customers. At the NSW Deaf Festival recently, Samsung announced a new initiative for Samsung’s deaf and hard of hearing customers who can now access Samsung’s service in Auslan through Skype.

If you have a Samsung product, for example, TV, mobile phone etc., and you are experiencing issues, or if you would like to know more about Samsung products, you can contact us. This new service compliments the existing support services of live chat and email. The big advantage for deaf and hard of hearing people using this service is that customers can use Auslan to resolve their issues or queries.

The Auslan Samsung Service is an appointment based system, meaning you need to head over to our support page and click on “Samsung Auslan” icon. Complete your details, including your Skype ID and date/time you would like to Skype. We will then send you an email to confirm the date and time to Skype. The service is available, Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm Eastern Standard Time. Alternatively, you can contact us via email at".
